今天， 中午午休的时候。英语老师拿着试卷走进了我们的教室。脸阴沉沉的，我一看到英语老师这副表情，心想：糟糕，肯定这次考得不够理想，要不然英语老师的脸上怎么没有笑容呢！按照以往的惯例，英语老师都是面带着微笑，就证明我们考得好，而这一次，显然是我们考得不够好，因此，英语老师都笑不出来。
英语老师叫几个同学发试卷。随后，英语老师说：“这次的单元考试考得不够理想呀！本次考试一百分只有一个，那就是藩小玲。”我一听是我的名字，我开心得不得了！我竟然是班级里唯一一个考满分的人，我的心里是无比的激动。英语老师接着说：“这次试卷大都数同学都是失分在看问题选答语那一题的，很多同学搞不清到底是要选哪一个答语？”这的确是的.，在这一题上，我也花费了很多时间，也搞得我云里雾里的。不过，幸好我没有选错。然后，英语老师叫我们订正试卷，并讲解了那几个错题。当然，英语老师还给我发了一张奖券呢！与此同时，还受到表扬的一个同学是我们班平时只考六十多分的小单同学，他这次竟然考了八十三分。英语老师也发了一张奖券给他，作为奖励。
我心头的那块大石头终于落地了。

When Mr. Smith came in, he was so scared that he held John in his arms right away. On the way to the hospital, John burst into laughter suddenly, which made the teacher confused. After we told him that it was only a joke, Mr. Smith laughed too.
We were all pleased to see him smiling at last.
