Dear leaders, dear teachers and classmates

  hello everyone!

I am glad that I can stand there at the morning meeting today. It is nearly two months since the school began. I and every member of our class group have a very happy picture and have basically adapted to the heavy study and life rules of high school. There is a big difference between junior high school and junior high school: learning at the moment requires us to have higher self-learning ability and stronger self-learning ability. In this regard, thanks to the help of teachers and classmates, I gradually overcome the shortcomings of relying solely on teachers in class and after-class review to consolidate. It can not only listen carefully in class, but also review in time after class, and ask teachers and classmates for advice in time when encountering difficult problems. It is because of your help that I got the necessary results in this monthly exam.

Here, I would like to express my most loyal gratitude to you and ask you to continue to support and encourage me in the future learning process. I will also try my best to help other students who need help and strive to improve together with you.

There was once upon a time an old goat who had seven little kids, and loved them with all the love of a mother for her children. One day she wanted to go into the forest andfetch some food. So she called all seven to her and said, Dear children, I have to go into the forest, be on your guard against the wolf; if he comes in, he will devour you all -- skin, hair, and all. The wretch often disguises himself, but you will know him at once by his rough voice and his black feet. The kids said, Dear mother, we will take good care of ourselves; you may go away without any anxiety. Then the old one bleated, and went on her way with an easy mind.

It was not long before some one knocked at the house-door and called, Open the door, dear children; your mother is here, and has brought something back with her for each of you. But the little kids knew that it was the wolf, by the rough voice; We will not open the door, cried they, thou art not our mother. She has a soft, pleasant voice, but thy voice is rough; thou art the wolf! Then the wolf went away to a shopkeeper and bought himself a great lump of chalk, ate this and made his voice soft with it. Then he came back, knocked at the door of the house, and cried, Open the door, dear children, your mother is here and has brought something back with her for each of you. But the wolf had laid his black paws against the window, and the children saw them and cried, We will not open the door, our mother has not black feet like thee; thou art the wolf. Then the wolf ran to a baker and said, I have hurt my feet, rub some dough over them for me. And when the baker had rubbed his feet over, he ran to the miller and said, Strew some white meal over my feet for me. The miller thought to himself, The wolf wants todeceive someone, and refused; but the wolf said, If thou will not do it, I will devourthee. Then the miller was afraid, and made his paws white for him. Truly men are like that.

So now the wretch went for the third time to the house-door, knocked at it and said, Open the door for me, children, your dear little mother has come home, and has brought every one of you something back from the forest with her. The little kids cried, First show us thy paws that we may know if thou art our dear little mother. Then he put his paws in through the window, and when the kids saw that they were white, they believed that all he said was true, and opened the door. But who should come in but the wolf! They were terrified and wanted to hide

themselves. One sprang under the table, the second into the bed, the third into the stove, the fourth into the kitchen, the fifth into the cupboard, the sixth under the washing-bowl, and the seventh into the clock-case. But the wolf found them all, and used no great ceremony; one after the other he swallowed them down his throat. The youngest, who was in the clock-case, was the only one he did not find. When the wolf had satisfied his appetite he took himself off, laid himself down under a tree in the green meadow outside, and began to sleep.

Soon afterwards the old goat came home again from the forest. Ah! What a sight she saw there! The house-door stood wide open. The table, chairs, and benches were thrown down, the washing-bowl lay broken to pieces, and the quilts and pillows were pulled off the bed. She sought her children, but they were nowhere to be found. She called them one after another by name, but no one answered. At last, when she came to the youngest, a soft voice cried, Dear mother, I am in the clock-case. She took the kid out, and it told her that the wolf had come and had eaten all the others. Then you may imagine how she wept over her poor children.

At length in her grief she went out, and the youngest kid ran with her. When they came to the meadow, there lay the wolf by the tree and snored so loud that the branches shook. She looked at him on every side and saw that something was moving and struggling in his gorged belly. Ah, heavens, said she, is it possible that my poor children whom he has swallowed down for his supper, can be still alive? Then the kid had to run home and fetch scissors, and a needle and thread, and the goat cut open the monster's stomach, and hardly had she make one cut, than one little kid thrust its head out, and when she cut farther, all six sprang out one after another, and were all still alive, and had suffered no injury whatever, for in his greediness the monster had swallowed them down whole. What rejoicing there was! They embraced their dear mother, and jumped like a sailor at his wedding. The mother, however, said, Now go and look for some big stones, and we will fill the wicked beast's stomach with them while he is still asleep. Then the seven kids dragged the stones thither with all speed, and put as many of them into his stomach as they could get in; and the mother sewed him up again in the greatest haste, so that he was not aware of anything and never once stirred.

When the wolf at length had had his sleep out, he got on his legs, and as the stones in his stomach made him very thirsty, he wanted to go to a well to drink. But when he began to walk and move about, the stones in his stomach knocked against each other and rattled. Then cried he,What rumbles and tumbles.

  Against my poor bones?

I thought 't was six kids, But it's naught but big stones.

And when he got to the well and stooped over the water and was just about to drink, the heavy stones made him fall in, and there was no help, but he had to drownmiserably. When the seven kids saw that, they came running to the spot and cried aloud, The wolf is dead! The wolf is dead! and danced for joy round about the well with their mother.

so if you picture the typical classroom nowadays: when i was going to school, we sat in rows. we sat in rows of desks like this, and we did most of our work pretty autonomously. but nowadays, your typical classroom has pods of desks -- four or five or six or seven kids all facing each other. and kids are working in countless group assignments. even in subjects like math and creative writing, which you think would depend on solo flights of thought, kids are now expected to act as committee members. and for the kids who prefer to go off by themselves or just to work alone, those kids are seen as outliers often or, worse, as problem cases. and the vast majority of teachers reports believing that the ideal student is an extrovert as opposed to an introvert, even though introverts actually get better grades and are more knowledgeable, according to research. (laughter) okay, same thing is true in our workplaces. now, most of us work in open plan offices, without walls, where we are subject to the constant noise and gaze of our coworkers. and when it comes to leadership, introverts are routinely passed over for leadership positions, even though introverts tend to be very careful, much less likely to take outsize risks -- which is something we might all favor nowadays. and interesting research by adam grant at the wharton school has found that introverted leaders often deliver better outcomes than extroverts do, because when they are managing proactive employees, they're much more likely to let those employees run with their ideas, whereas an extrovert can, quite unwittingly, get so excited about things that they're putting their own stamp on things, and other people's ideas might not as easily then bubble up to the surface. now in fact, some of our transformative leaders in history have been introverts. i'll give you some examples. eleanor roosevelt, rosa parks, gandhi -- all these peopled described themselves as quiet and soft-spoken and even shy. and they all took the spotlight, even though every bone in their bodies was telling them not to. and this turns out to have a special power all its own, because people could feel that these leaders were at the helm, not because they enjoyed directing others and not out of the pleasure of being looked at; they were there because they had no choice, because they were driven to do what they thought was right.

Dear leaders, dear teachers and classmates

  hello everyone!

The topic of my speech is: learn to control negative emotions.

Suppose that you are the person who is shot at on TV. How will you feel at that moment? It must be fear. Of all the emotions, fear is the most unpopular. We often say, "I hope life will be free from fear." In fact, fear is not useless. It will let us learn to avoid, learn to turn defeat into victory. The key is whether you can control your emotions.

In addition to fear, we also have sadness. Sadness makes people feel low and even dull. In fact, sadness also has benefits. It can make us learn to experience and think more deeply.

There was an experiment in psychology: ask two different people about the same thing. A group of people have just experienced happiness and a group of people have just experienced sadness. As a result, the former answers wayward and disorderly. The latter can think calmly and make the most correct answer. So, emotion doesn't matter positive or negative, as long as you can control it, you can use it for yourself.

However, in daily life, it is difficult for us to be the master of emotions, but we are often controlled by them. When anger burns, you lose your mind; When you are sad, you will be depressed. We need to calm down, learn to control our emotions, and control our emotions before we can have a perfect life.

Boys and girls, we are in adolescence, and we are prone to be agitated. We should learn to control our emotions. Only in this way can we reach the peak on the road of learning!

a word that has changed the world

good evening, ladies and gentlemen,my name is chenmiao,it’s my great honour to stand here to give a speech.today i am going to talk about three apples that have changed the world.they are not the apples which you see and buy in the market. those apples are not available to eat . maybe you couldn try to eat an apple from hundreds of years ago. firstly, from the moment that eve picked a apple, human beings are tied to apples . what driving her just were humanity's eternal curiosity and converse, but had not thought of opening the door to new world.since the fruit is symbolic, representing the efforts that human renegade fixed patterns from generation to generation .

the another anpple , then hit the most the intelligent head of human beings.whether is newton's story true or false, it left beauty on the roadwhich humansexplore the world.

the next is steve jobs’s apple. the perfectionist and

paranoid designed a new perception of the world for people, making a product become a religious, part of the humans startedthinking about the possibility of the newworld, but most

humans do not have to think, only need to accept.therefore, there is the famous microblogging scripts:up to now, there are 3 famous apples have a major impact on human history, one temptedeve, onewoke up newton ,and another is in the hands of the jobe.

snow white died due to eating poison apple, paris prince giave the golden apple to aphrodite caused the trojan war, hera’s wedding present was golden apple, william · fall launched the people's uprising in switzerland, and the most important props are apples , new york is a big apple, we all love to eat apple pie ... ...humans’ cultural and history are always tangled with the apples.

but the apple is just a symbol of human’s choice, focus is on that what we are faced with after we took it over. all apples represent an unknown world ,just as li niao faced two capsules in "the matrix": red or blue ?just did he go back as nothing happened,or did he go to see another world still with us ?we chose apples, because we were tired of the present old model, not to say that the old model is not good, but the original curiosity of humans that drives us to see what is behind the gates.

for some creatures including human beings; the phenomena of EL Nino and La Nina leave the land with serious flood and drought, and the diseases, caused by pollution, are increasing at an incredible speed... Seeing all these facts, can we still ignore the counterattack of nature? We are not the masters of nature. Facing all the disasters made by ourselves, we, mankind as a whole should realize that we are just a normal member of the big family of nature. Any mistreatment towards nature will meet only with the revenge from her.

By saying so, I do not mean we should give a sudden stop to any development. Because that will result in a threat to the e xxx istence of human society. I mean we should treat nature equally, leaving the chance of e xxx istence and development to nature as we are obtaining the same thing, and thus we will get the situation of win-win.

I am very pleased to find that now more and more people, from every corner of the planet, have come to realize that harmony with nature is the only way to universal and continuous progress and prosperity. And I think that is why we come here from all over the country to discuss this topic today. I want to end my speech by quoting from Mr. Ni xxx on. "Our destiny offers, not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity." The future is not ours to see of course. However, by seizing firmly the opportunities, by knowing clearly about ourselves, we, human beings, can doubtlessly achieve the real harmony with nature! Thank you.
